El nacimiento de este blog -febrero 2010- “By Toni Colom” coincide con la presentación de Passion Talent Group y con uno de los breves intervalos sin jugadores a los que nos tenemos que enfrentar los que dedicamos al Coaching cuando cerramos un ciclo de trabajo con un jugador o grupo de jugadores hasta que iniciamos otro. Aunque no por ello esta resultando ser menos intenso y enriquecedor"
A los 17 años me inicié en el proyecto de mi vida “la enseñanza del tenis como Travelling Coach de competición”, siempre enfocado a que los jugadores que confían en mí trabajo y en el de mí equipo alcancen sus objetivos.
Desde entonces casi siempre rodeado de jugadores con más o menos talento, a veces con grupos más extensos, otras más reducido, a veces con jugadores que se inician, están en su ecuador o en su ultima etapa profesional. Independiente o dependiendo de una estructura.
A los 17 años me inicié en el proyecto de mi vida “la enseñanza del tenis como Travelling Coach de competición”, siempre enfocado a que los jugadores que confían en mí trabajo y en el de mí equipo alcancen sus objetivos.
Desde entonces casi siempre rodeado de jugadores con más o menos talento, a veces con grupos más extensos, otras más reducido, a veces con jugadores que se inician, están en su ecuador o en su ultima etapa profesional. Independiente o dependiendo de una estructura.
23 años sin tregua, sin respiro trabajando a destajo. No es para menos, las prioridades deportivas de los jugadores convertidas en mis prioridades me han exigido este estilo de vida.
Desde ahora gracias a los avances tecnológicos, a este intervalo profesional y a Passion Talent Group puedo y podré compartir en “By Toni Colom” con todos ustedes mis inquietudes, mis experiencias pasadas, actuales y futuras.
Experiencias dulces y amargas, desde la suerte de poder ganar como coach un Grand Prix como el de Pekín 2005 junto Rafael Nadal a las dos primeras seguidas en los Masters 1000 de Toronto y Cincinnati también con Rafael.
Desde la felicidad de vivir un derby en la final del Campeonato de España Júnior 2005 entre Borja Martínez y Nacho Coll a la tristeza de derrotas o abandonos inesperados por lesiones o por las dudas que siempre surgen en el peor momento, el de la verdad.
A los abrazos o dedicatorias micro en mano de algunos jugadores después de ganar su primer torneo Future como Rafael Nadal, Nacho Coll, Pedro Clar, Guillermo Alcaide, Andoni Vivanco y David Vega o los consuelos al acabar de perder su primera final, como Pablo Martín o Agustín Boje.
A la ilusión con la que siempre se empieza una nueva relación profesional como la que inicié con James Ward desplazandome a londres a vivir en la LTA a la desilusión unos meses después al venir del Open de Australia dar la relación por terminada.
Todas estas experiencias puestas en la balanza no tienen color: el plato de las alegrías y satisfacciones gana por goleada y además ahora tengo la posibilidad desde este portal de compartirlas con todos vosotros.

I have Been always surrounded by players with more or less talent, sometimes with more extensive groups, others reduced, sometimes with players who begin, that are in their equator or in their lasts fight stage, by my account or under the support of one structure, economically reliable with the players contribution, or organizing and working in other fields of the tennis, to survive and to be able to follow with my dreams by 20 years
Without truce, without breathing, working hard, it is not for less, the sport priorities of the players turned on me always my priorities, have not given for more. But, as in this way the chances are not simple chances, thanks to the technological advances, this professional interval and Passion Talent Group I can and I will be able of sharing in “By Toni Colom” with all of you my restlessness, my passed, present and future experiences.
Experiences resisted from the chance of being able to gain a Grand Prix as the one of Beijing 2005 together with Rafael Nadal, the two first followed by the Masters 1000 of Toronto and Cincinnati, to the happiness to live a derby on the Championship of Spain Junior final 2005 between Borja Martinez and Nacho Coll after being working 8 months morning and every day evening week after week with them two.
From the injuries or doubts at the worse moment, the one of the truth, or bypassing them always, probably but unexpected, like just after being abroad living in the Lawn Tennis Association the entire preseason, and turning around the world with James Ward, till arriving to Australia, in spite of making its best results, to hugs or dedications micro in hand of some players after gaining its first match Future ATP, like Nacho Coll, Pedro Clar, Guillermo Alcaide and Andoni Vivanco or when they have finished losing his first final, like Pablo Martin or Agustín Boje.
