El valor de las semillas que deja el deporte / The value of seed to leave the sport

Ayer quedé para comer con un compañero mío, gran aficionado al tenis que incluso ejerció de entrenador de tenis hace años, pero por circunstancias de la vida se acabó dedicando al mundo editorial y publicitario. Hablamos un poco de todo: de tenis profesional, amateur y evidentemente le presenté el proyecto Passion Talent Group, su finalidad, los objetivos a corto y a largo plazo,...

La conversación nos llevó de inmediato a analizar la grave situación económica mundial y más en profundidad la que nuestro país está atravesando. Hablamos sobre sus efectos en el tenis de competición que desgraciadamente repercuten muy directamente, al igual que al mundo editorial y publicitario.

Inmediatamente nuestra conversación se desvió a refrescar nuestra memoria recordando la situación de bonanza que habíamos vivido así como los valores que nuestros padres y abuelos nos habían trasmitido; lo importante que es aplicarlos en el presente para recuperarnos cuanto antes de esta delicada situación.

Coincidimos en que la crisis actual no sólo era económica sino también de valores: disciplina, esfuerzo, humildad, sacrificio, respeto,... a los que nosotros gracias a la educación de nuestros antecesores ahora nos estamos agarrando más que nunca. Trabajando domingos por la tarde, muchas horas a fondo perdido, para poder crear e intentar sacar para adelante nuestros objetivos. Incluso coincidimos en que había que tener mucha imaginación y creatividad para encandilar a los posibles patrocinadores que hoy no dan ni un euro si no es a cambio de otro euro. Y que por muy creativo que fuese uno ya no basta; al final, para llevarla a cabo se necesitaran horas de trabajo, con lo cual, lo que hacen los patrocinadores hoy en día es comprarte la idea y el trabajo que conlleva el desempeñarla. No te regalan nada, como es normal.

Cuando ya me estaba dirigiendo hacia la oficina de Passion Talent Group, lo hacía con una dosis de energía y fuerza extra para agarrarme aun más si cabe a los principios de nuestros abuelos. Seguro que siempre es posible volcarse un poco más. Me sentí satisfecho por los principios que el deporte de alto rendimiento siembra en los jóvenes que dan parte de su niñez, juventud y madurez a intentar superar todas las adversidades, que no son pocas, y escalar lo más arriba posible como deportista.

Cuántos domingos y festivos, después de una dulce victoria o amarga derrota, estos deportistas dedican horas y horas a un fondo que parece perdido, pero que seguro que no lo es. Igual por no tener un trueque económico parece que son rayas al agua, pero en verdad no lo son, sino que son unas raíces primordiales para poder afrontar la vida con más garantía, con más fortaleza y por qué no, acabar consiguiendo este trueque con el que tantos deportistas sueñan: ganar un gran torneo, recibir el reconocimiento de la gente, sentir sensaciones especiales, recuperar al menos la inversión realizada,…

Y les aseguro que así es. Es duro y costoso. Me encuentro siguiendo en el live socore on line a algunos de los jugadores de Passion Talent Group como Sergio Gutiérrez (que acaba de perder 46 67 en primera del challenger de Biella después de pasar la previa este fin de semana), o revisando de tanto en tanto los cuadros de otros torneos en los que los Former Players passion Talent Group participan. Es el caso de Nacho Coll, que ha ganado en un future en Inglaterra 62 26 63 o Javier Martí, en Bulgaria, que también ha ganado 36 64 64 y seguro que están superando los dos momentos difíciles. O Andoni Vivanco que cuando vencía 61 en Lleida se retiró su contrario. Peor fortuna la de Pedro Clar, que fue él quien se retiró también en Lleida cuando iba perdiendo 57 12 al igual que Agustín Boje, que perdió en Italia 67 46.

A todos ellos, sin olvidarme de pablo Martín, que ayer ganó, y de James Ward, que al estar jugando en Sarasota EEUU aun no sé su resultado, mucha fuerza. Que sepáis que lo que estáis haciendo tarde o temprano tendrá su recompensa y que los valores que os trasmite el deporte ya son una riqueza que poseéis.

Felicitar a Albert Montañés, la verdad que ver una final de un 250 ATP de dos jugadores que no superan el metro 75 cm de altura, es una gran alegría, quiere decir que en el tenis sigue habiendo sitio para todos y que con concentración, sudor, empeño y un patrón muy elaborado a sus condiciones, a pesar de tener este handicap también puede lograr sus sueños. Como es el caso de Montañes que levanta la corona de Estoril por segunda vez consecutiva y sexta ATP a lo largo de su carrera con 29 años y además logrando el sueño máximo de cualquier deportista vencer como el hizo al mejor jugador de la historia el actual número uno Roger Federer.

Como no también acordarme de los fans y seguidores del blog de Passion Talent Group en esta ocasión animar a Guillermo Olaso semifinalista en el Challenger de Egipto perdiendo en un duro partido a tres sets con otra rata el Italiano Vagnozi ( metro 73 cm). Y de Albert Ramos que tan amablemente nos atendió en el Blog hace una semanas que también llego hasta semifinales del Challenger de San Remo Italia perdiendo 67 tercer set.

Y para acabar de nuevo una semana más felicitar al Institucional Player Passion Talent Group Pablo Martin por su tercera victoria consecutiva en un Future ATP de Dobles en esta ocasión en Balaguer formando pareja con el catalan Jordi Marse. Y ya que de dobles estamos hablando felicitar también a Marc Lopez, David Marero por vencer en esta modalidad en le ATP 250 de Estoril y a Santi Ventura también por su victoria en dobles en el ATP 250 de Munich.

Yesterday I met a friend for having lunch. He is a tennis enthusiast and he even was a tennis coach for a year. But for life situations, he devoted to publishing world and advertising. We talked about everything: tennis professional, amateur and I presented him Passion Talent Group project, its purpose and its short and long term objectives.
We talked about the problem of the world economic situation and above all about our country and its economical crisis. We commented that this economical crisis, unfortunately, affects the competitive and also the publishing world and advertising.
But our conversation change immediately and we remembered the good times we lived and also the values of our parents and grandparents passed on to us. These values are very difficult to apply at the present situation if we want to recover as soon as possible of this delicate matter.
We agreed that the present crisis was not only economic, also it is about values: discipline, effort, humility, sacrifice, respect, etc. We received an education with these values and it is now the perfect time to use. We are working many hours on Sunday evening for creating and achieving our goals. And even we agreed that nowadays you should have imagination and creativity, if you want to fascinate the sponsors, because they do not give you any money in order to receive money. And it is not enough to be creative, because in the end you need a lot of hours of work and nowadays the sponsors buy you the idea and work involving it. As usual, they do not give you anything.
When I just made my way to the office of Passion Talent Group, I made it with a big amount of energy and strength to take even more the values of our grandparents. I am satisfied with the principles of the high performance sport which give to young people, because they are a part of their childhood, youth and maturity and with them, they learn how to overcome the adversities, which are numerous, and grow as high as possible as an athlete.
We have not to forget that many Sundays and holidays, after a good win or a bitter defeat, these athletes spend hours and hours and it seems that they waste their time, but I know that they do not waste it. As not having an economic barter it seems that are water lines, and they are not water lines, but they are primary values to face the life with more security and more strength. And maybe they can end getting this barter which is the dream of so many athletes: to win a big tournament, to be recognized in this sport, to have special feelings, to recover at least all that you made, etc.
And I can assure you that it is like this. It is hard and expensive. I am in the live socore and I am following some of the Passion Talent Group players like Sergio Gutierrez (who just lost 46 67 in the first challenger of Biella (Italy) after playing the previous this weekend) and I am checking from time to time the tournaments which Former Players Passion Talent Group are involved. I want to give strength to all of them, without forgetting Pablo Martín, who won yesterday, and also James Ward, who is playing now in Sarasota (USA) and I can not know his result. They have to know that what they are doing, sooner or later, they will have their own reward and the treasure they possess is the sport values.
I want to congratulate Albert Montañés. It is a great joy when you see a 250 ATP final of two players that do not exceed 75 cm in height. It means that everybody can join this sport and dreams can come true with concentration, sweat, effort and a good pattern of player conditions. An example is Montañés who raised the Estoril’s crown for the second time and won the sixth ATP among his career with 29 years, and achieved the highest dream of any athlete, because he won against the best player of the world, Roger Federer.
Also I remember the fans and followers of the blog of Passion Talent Group. I want to cheer Guillermo Olaso up, semifinalist in the Challenger of Egypt, who lost in a tough three-set match with another rat, the Italian Vagnozi (1,73 cm height). And also Albert Ramos, who attended us kindly on the blog a few weeks ago, also played the semifinals of the Challenger in San Remo (Italy) losing 67 third set.
Finally, I want to congratulate again the Institutional Player Passion Talent Group, Pablo Martin, whose partner in doubles is the Catalan Jordi Marse, for his third consecutive win in the ATP Future Doubles this time in Balaguer (Catalonia). Talking about doubles, I also want to congratulate Marc Lopez and David Marero for winning this modality in 250 ATP in Estoril (Portugal), and also Santi Ventura for his win in doubles in the ATP 250 in Munich.
